Cory is not only experienced but also successful in the 270 division. It takes a lot for Myers to step away from the racing atmosphere. In his free time, his father and himself build wings and shocks for fellow drivers. And usually, instead of going to the beach for vacation, his type of get away is to the race track or even in the shop.
Cory seems to find the fast way around the track, but with 10 years of 270 experience, that shouldn’t be much of a surprise. Cory first strapped into a 270 back in 2011. Along with micros, he found himself behind the wheel of a 305 sprint car a handful of times. His whole life he’s been around the atmosphere. Back in the day his father raced and that happens to be the reason Cory got behind the wheel. This past season with the Mason Dixon series, Cory ended up 2nd in point standings with a handful of his starts being wins. A lot of those coming from Path Valley, which may explain why that’s his favorite track.
Myers Racing, located in Gettysburg PA, is a two car team. The first driver is Cory and alongside him is his older brother Craig. And this year, these brothers want to be in victory lane as much as possible! Their goal is to be competitive and give other drivers a run for their money. So make sure to keep your eyes on the Myers Racing cars on the track this year!
